Report on specifications and on the available technical processes for rCF semi-product production

This document gathers the technical requirements for semi-finished products to be developed within the framework of MANIFICA project. This study aims to establish the specifications to be met by semi-finished products incorporating recycled carbon fibres (rCFs) for aeronautical industry use. These specifications are useful to:

• Produce high quality semi-finished products
• Ensure good processability of semi-finished products for the manufacture of composite parts
• Enable the production of high-tech products that are more environmentally friendly

Technical report on the manufacturing processes and performances of the different rCF materials in composite coupons

This report presents the results of the studies conducted by VESO Concept on the manufacturing processes and performances of the different rCF materials in the framework of MANIFICA project One of the main goal of this study is proving the high quality of the recycled carbon fibers. Therefore, the report focuses on the manufacturing processes and performance of the different recycled carbon fiber (rCF) materials. We are interested in presenting the main properties of the semi-finished products for their manual and/or potentially robotic handling before any composite implementation. These first bases allow the user to orientate his process. From the selected fabrics, we were interested in the processing of the material to make thermoset composites.
